Speaking

Most speakers spend a lot of time on stages. I've spent most of my life standing beside people.

For the last 17 years, that has meant standing in pastures and arenas beside veterans, first responders, leaders, families, and others trying to navigate seasons that were harder than they expected.

One thing I've learned is that people are remarkably good at carrying things. Responsibility. Pressure. Grief. Expectations. Sometimes they carry those things for so long they stop noticing the weight of them.

What I've been given is a front-row seat to thousands of conversations and experiences most people never see.

Stand close enough for long enough, and certain things become impossible not to notice. You begin to see where people get stuck. What helps them move forward. What gets in the way. What matters most when life gets hard.

That's what I bring into a room.

Not a formula or a list of answers. Just stories, observations, faith, and a different way of looking at things that may help people see something they couldn't quite see while they were living it.

One of my favorite moments is when somebody suddenly sits up a little straighter. That usually means something connected.

Maybe they recognized themselves in the story. Maybe they finally found words for something they've been carrying. Maybe they saw a situation, a relationship, or a season of life from a different angle.

Whatever it is, the room starts to change. People relax a little. The laughter comes easier. The conversation gets more honest.

And by the end of our time together, many walk away with a better understanding of themselves, the people they care about, and what matters most.

Most leave carrying less and understanding more.
